Halloween was weird this year. Sydney came home from school and said that a couple people told her that Halloween was cancelled. I said "They must have been kidding, you can't cancel Halloween." A few minutes later I found out that due to imminent bad weather, the Base Wing Commander had decided to cancel Halloween or at least postpone trick or treating for two days. In fact, the weather turned out to be fine, but still the kids had to wait two days to collect their goodies. On the night of trick or treating all the folks on our street sat in a semi-circle at the end of the street to intimidate everyone, I mean to pass out candy. At one point the Base Commander came walking by in his green flight suit and some smarty pants yells out, "It's the Grinch Who Stole Halloween!!" Har har.
This year Sydney dressed up as a goth person. Meghann and her friend Kerstin dressed up like Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. Abby dressed up like a bulldog.
